So, finally a quick little update! Life has been so so so busy that I never even get on my blog anymore. I have been in nursing school for the past year and finish up in two weeks! YAY!!!! Also, work is busier because I am at work 5 days a week instead of the great firefighter schedule....that is because I am 6 and half months pregnant with a little girl.....due in August. Dustin is working lots and still doing concrete jobs on the side. So, that is our crazy life. Austin is getting bigger and bigger everyday....but still just as handsome as ever. He is such a fun little dude to be with and makes us laugh all the time. I love his age and his sweet innocence. I hope all is well out there. I will try to be a little better at posting.

Oh yeah.....and Austin is crawling and trying to walk!!

So, nursing school finished up for the summer for a short 3 week break until block 3 starts up....so we decided to go visit dustins cousins in San Diego for a week. We had such a great time...We hit up a Padres game, shopped at the surf shops, laid on the beach, and tried to relax. Although, we found the relaxing part tougher than it use to be now that we have a baby to take with us. Oh well, it was an experience and Austin sure had fun at the beach. We went straight to the Lucchesi cabin after we got home because Dustin has his archery bull elk hunt in a few weeks and wanted to check out the elk in his area. We enjoy going up there anytime to get out of the 110 degree heat here. Here are a few pics for ya to see.

Hi friends and family! Hope everyone is doing great! Happy 4th of July! It has been a busy busy summer, but we are surviving! I will be done with block 2 of nursing school in 2 weeks! Yeah....then on to fall and spring and then I will be done! It will be worth it right???? I keep telling myself it will be! Dustin is being such a big help around the house for me and is such an awesome dad! He is still doing concrete on the side so he stays busy also! What is wrong with us???? We cant ever stop. Although, we did get a chance to get away to the Lucchesi cabin for the weekend. We had a blast and it was such a nice break away from the heat and stress here. Here are some pics.....Austin had a blast! He is 9 months this next week and is crawling and teething and all that other fun stuff. He is such an awesome kid!!!!

Hi everybody! Just an update of our crazy Lucchesi lives..... Austin will be 7 months old next week....already. He weighs 18 lbs and is 28.5 inches long...and growing like a weed. He is the most laid back kid. Laughs and smiles all the time. He just had 2 bottom teeth come in last week and is sitting up all on his own. Dustin is busy working..overtime at the firestation and doing concrete jobs on the side. He LOVES to work! I am glad though. I decided to get crazy and go back to school, so in three weeks I am starting the paramedic to RN nursing program at MCC. It is only a year..I just have to figure out how to work at the firestation and go to school and be a mom and wife.....multi-tasking right???? I am hoping this summer we can make it to the beach a couple of times. I am doing a quick trip this week with Austin and flying to Oklahoma to visit Jenny. It should be fun. Sorry we were away for over a month! Time just goes by too fast and I look back at my blog and it has been forever since the last pics I posted! Well, all is good at the Lucchesi home! Dustin and I are busy working and spending time with Austin. Austin is now 5 months old and amazes us with something new everyday! He is rolling over, holding his bottle, sitting up in his boppy, and now hiking with mommy! We have a blast with him and cant imagine how we ever lived without him! My friend Jena told me I needed to update my blog with some more pics of Austin..... So here they are.... Austin in 3 and half months old already! He is such a good, happy, fun baby! He sleeps through the night and always has a big smile on his face. He just rolled over for the first time yesterday and just keeps getting bigger and bigger everyday! Also....my bro Brent got married last weekend to Lacey Lines! I sure love brent, and he is with an awesome gal!

Austin is the big two months old now!! Crazy! He is getting soooooo big. It seems like he just hit this growth spurt. He is smiling, laughing, cooing, and already running around the block with mommy ( ok, not the last part...but I cant wait for that!) We are getting ready for the holidays and got our house all decorated. This year we actually got a tree...and it isnt 2 feet tall. It will be fun with a kid now. Well only 3 more weeks and back to work......I dont know if Im ready to leave the boy 10 days a month. We will see how it goes... He are some pics. Enjoy!

Well it has already been another couple of weeks...geez! Everything in the Lucchesi home is great! We are all happy and healthy which is always the most important things. I am still off work until the beginning of January...which is really coming up quick. I think it is going to be alot harder than i thought to leave our little dude for 24 hours at a time. We welcomed our new baby boy Austin Allyn Lucchesi on Saturday morning October 10, 2009. Austin and I almost had the same birthday, but I held off to the next day, I didnt think he would want to share his birthday with his mom. The delivery went great....all I have to say is I LOVE epidurals!!! I didnt feel a thing! Austin weighed 7.7 lbs and 21 inches long. He is perfect in every way! We are so happy!!! Here are a few pics from the past 4 days...and onlys days of Austins life.

I went today and had the 3D/4D ultrasound done. It was really neat! Pretty wild how the baby looks like a real baby already!! I had debated doing it because I wanted to wait til the baby was more developed, but they turned out good.

Happy 4th of July!!! We spent the weekend up at the Lucchesi's cabin in Heber with lots of family and friends. We went fishing, watched the parade, watched fireworks, relaxed, ate, and relaxed some more. We had lots of fun!!!

So, It has already been 2 months since my last update! Sorry! It is kind of the same way when I write in my journal. So to update you all. ....Dustin and I are having a baby boy!! Yeah! We are very excited. Also, we sold our house and are moving this week into my old house until we find one that we want to stay in for awhile. Are we crazy??? 6 months prego and moving. It is all good. At least I am not my sis jen who just moved from denver to oklahoma with 7 month old triplets!! Love you jen! Anyways....I will put some recent pics up soon!

Here are some pics from our trip to Oceanside with some friends. We stayed in a condo on the beach for a week and had a blast! The beach (any beach) is our favorite place to be. Dustin went surfing every morning with the boys and I laid my pregnant belly on the beach, and attempted to do some boogie boarding in the FREEZING water! Cant wait to go again!

So, I am pregnant. I know, it is hard to believe julie and dustin are going to be parents....but it is true! And, we are both very excited and very nervous! I am 13 weeks along and had my first ultrasound last week. It was pretty neat to see the little thing swimming around in there and also hard to believe there is really something inside me. Im not showing yet with my clothes on, but have a little bump without them. ( good thing nobody but dustin sees that!) The due date is middle of October, so maybe I will get a baby for my birthday! I havent been sick a day yet and I hope never. My mom and my sisters had great pregnancies and recoveries so I am hoping I can follow right along. I will keep you updated. Fun stuff!

Merry Christmas!!! We hope everybody had safe and happy holidays this year!! Dustin and I had a great time with both of our families and ate way too many sweets!! We both had to work at the station on Christmas Day so we celebrated Christmas Eve with two wonderful parties. Thanks for the gift....we loved them. Here are some pics to enjoy!

Dustin and I just got home from Thanksgiving weekend with the Lucchesi fam up at their cabin in Heber. We had a great time with the family.....we made homemade pizzas one night, watched movies, played ping pong, watched it snow and had a great Thanksgiving Dinner! The only bummer was that Dustin and I came home early Friday morning to make it to work and got into a car accident outside of payson and ruined dustins truck. Luckily we don't care too much bout the truck and are grateful that we were safe. Someone was watchin over us. Now it is back to being at home and we busted out all the Christmas decorations and put the lights up on the house and the Christmas tree up. I love it when the house is clean and all the Christmas lights are on. We hope you all are doing good and are excited for a wonderful holiday season!

Congrats to my sis and bro in law! Jenny and ben finally had their tiplets on Sunday October 26th. Twin Boys ..Carter and Lincoln.... and a girl....Tatum. They are all healthy and cute. Jenny is recovering and Ben ins keeping busy taking care of all 4 of them. I am so happy for them and we cant wait to see them.

Well, we are home again! 16 days away in a foreign country is enough to make you never want to come home again...except for we love our family and friends!!! Dustin and I left for Italy on Sept 22 and flew home Oct 8. We rented a car and drove all over the little country...We visited Tuscany, Florence, Rome, Venice Lake Como, Lucca, Pisa, and little towns all in between. We saw so many beautiful places and so much history and art. It makes us want to go back and learn more about our world history and events that took place in the places we visited. We went with some of our good friends and got to experience the "real Italian life" We ate so much good food...pizza (and yes, I ate lots of it), bread, pasta, bread, pasta and more pizza. But I think dustin and I managed to walk 12 miles a day so we kept the pounds about where we had them when we left. Here are a few pics to look at, we took over 1000 of them. Enjoy!!

Hunting Season!!!

Its Elk hunting season!! Dustin and his brother Aaron just got back fom an archery elk hunt up in Heber, AZ and Forest Lakes. The hunted for quite awhile until they found the elk that aaron really wanted. Dustin was just along for the ride but made an excellent scouting partner~ Aaron shot a 6X5 Bull! Good for him!~ That is pretty exciting! Great job boys!!!

Firefighter Challenge

Dustin and I did a firefighter challenge. He had a team of 3 guys and I had one of three gals. We did a little obstactle course. It was a charity event for muscular dystrophy. We had a blast! Dustin is off hunting this week with his brother for elk. That means a whole week by myself. That is good for the both of us. D loves hunting with his bro and dad. One week til Italy!!! YEAH. We cant wait!

Howdy friends!!! I know I really havent written a whole lot lately but it is because dustin and I are going to Italy in a couple of weeks and I am waiting so I can tell you all about our trip. We havent been doing anything too exciting lately except work, work, and more work. I mean we love it.....but ready for vacation!!! I found this great pic of dustins fish tank. I wanted to put it on here because he is so proud of it. It has become a great hobby of dustin to take care and learn about salt water tanks. He has learned alot and has a great looking tank. Exciting News!! Mark and Annie had a baby boy, Ryker. He came a little earlier than expected but was over 7 lbs and is a cutie. He stayed in the NICU for a few days after he was born until he could breathe a little better. He is now at home and doing great. I am so lucky to have such cute nieces and nephews!!

Well, we finally got a chance to get away from work and the heat and went up to the Lucchesi cabin for the 4th of July in Heber. It is a tradition and it was our 6th year that dustin and I have been up there together. CRAZY! The Pirlo family made it up and we all went to the parade and watched fireworks. Good times.

Burn Camp

I wanted to tell you about a great experience that I just got back from doing. Every year for the past 4 years I am a camp counselor for Camp Courage. It is a week camp that is put on every year for Burns and Trauma survivors from ages 5-16. It is such a great experience to see what great attitudes these kids have a camp. Some of these kids burns have totally disfigured their bodies, but not their personalities and minds. This camp gives the kids a chance to be around others like them and is somewhere they can feel good about themselves. We take the kids swimming, horseback riding, rappelling, hiking, fishing, canoeing, ect... This year I had the 10 and 11 year old girls. They were full of personality and I had a great time. By the end of camp you don't want to let the kids go home and they don't want to go home without you. This year we had a guest speaker Jason Schechterle was there. He was the phoenix police officer who was burned in a car collision about 6 years ago that left his appearance totally disfigured. Now, he goes around talking to people about how to have a good attitude. Listening to his story was amazing. He is awesome. I had such a great time. It gives me an opportunity to see what happens to some of the kids that we have to go on as firefighters years down the road. I am hoping that Dustin will come with me next year.

OUR GARDEN!

So, Dustin and I decided that we would make a garden. We have been wanting to do it for awhile now and had started a small one in a couple of whiskey barrels with some tomatoes, strawberries, and jalepanos...but they didn't do as well as we would've liked. So, we read about this square foot gardening so we decided to try it out. We planted tomatoes, watermelon, cucumbers, squash, cantelope, bell peppers and zucchini. YUMMY!!!

Everything else is going great. I had eye surgery last week to remove a ptgerygium from my right eye. It was an easy surgery but my eye looks disgusting!! Kinda like the exorcist. Its gross. I took two days off work but now I am back. Dustin is hard at work always also!!!

Honeymoon!!!!

Well, we went on our Honeymoon and made it back safely. We took a 7 day cruise from Miami to Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize, and Cozumel. All the places were so beautiful, but our favorite was Roaton island, Honduras. We went scuba diving for our first time there and had a blast!! We are addicted! We got to see so many fish, corrals, and even sea turtles. We went snorkling and swimming with sting rays in grand cayman, cave tubing and through the rainforest in belize and in cozumel we went scuba diving again and then rented scooters and drove around the island. We had way too much fun and never wanted to come home. I mean we love our friends and family, but come on now....work??? I'd rather play. I guess that is why we work.
